Sometimes dealing with a situation needs a quiet, slow space

The Japanese have a word that describes “death from overwork” Karoshi is a concern of modern civilisation that was recognized in 1969.

We live in a world of elevated stress that is created by our constant need to pay attention. We are bombarded by advertisements, mobile phone messages and social media, but live in a world of strangers.

Forest therapy develops workforce resilience and life satisfaction across diverse populations.

Life can give us situations that seem impossible to deal with. Whatever is causing you stress, Forest Therapy can help you.

Our Guide will take you on a three hour slow walk through the forest. During this walk you will be invited to participate in a number of sensory and creative activities.

The result is that your autonomic sensory system will switch to parasympathetic mode. This decreases cortisol levels and improves your immune system.

The forest is the therapist and provides phytoncides that improve mood and counter the physiological responses to stress.

Stress lets us know we are at the edge of our container. Prolonged and untreated stress can become trauma
